Ribblesdale Park: A Week In A Log Cabin

So this past week i have been living the life of luxury in a silent, beautiful, hot tubbed log cabin and it has been a dream. Myself and my family took a five day trip to a log cabin for a little getaway and a chance to recharge our batterys; with the stresses from uni, work and general day to day life it is so liberating to just switch off from the outside world, relax, discover new things about yourself. We stayed at Ribblesdale Park Cabins in Clitheroe, who knew there was a quite secluded resort just off the A59? The wifi in the cabin was terrible but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the silence of notification dings and emails was such a calming feeling.

We spent our five days indulging in tasty food and drink, taking long walks up the hills and river with puppy before taking a long soak in the hot tub with a class of presecco. The week was perfect although now i am paying the price catching up with dreaded uni work and deadlines fastly approaching. Talk about crashing back to the ground with a boom. Ozzy loved his little log cabin break. He spent the five days frolicking in the fields, making friends with other dogs and sleeping his life away on the patio.

I feel so incredible lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful people who can make memories like this so special. Fancy cabins, champagne and great memories are all wonderful, but its love behind it that makes me the happiest.
