My Top Six Fragrance Picks

Happy sunday everyone, i hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I dont know about you but when im getting dressed to go out and conquer the world (ok, maybe a bit of an exaggeration aimee), i never feel my outfit is complete without the 'matching perfume'. I know, i am aware i sound a little unhinged but i really like matching my scent to the feel of my outfit such as bohemian with a sweet innocent scent & sexy with a seductive slightly deeper scent.

Now i am going to hold my hands up, i am a perfume addict. When it comes to birthdays & christmas everyone tends to buy me perfume because they know how much i love it. I have a range of higher end more classy type perfumes, but i still love the cheap & cheerful celebrity brands just as much as the next person. 100ml bottle of a great smelling perfume for £25.. pass me the bottle!

Jimmy Choo Flash - I have been loving this perfume lately. It is a great everyday scent, however i wear this to nicer events also because it has a slight sexyness to it. It has great longevity which is very important for me as i like my perfume to last all day. The experts at Jimmy Choo describe this scent as:
Sparkles of Pink Pepper, Tangerine and Strawberry introduce a flash of White Flowers and Tuberose to this Eau De Parfum fragrance. Intoxicating and dangerously sexy, the scent parades on a catwalk of addictive Powdery Woods".

Boss Femme - This has got to be my all time favourite perfume. The packaging is nothing out of the ordinary,  but the scent is to die for. Everytime i wear this perfume someone asks me what i am wearing, male & female. I have purchased endless bottles of this & while Hugo Boss continue to make it, i will continue to purchase. The scent is described as:
FEMME by BOSS. Radiant. Soft. Smooth. Femme by BOSS exudes an aura of captivating femininity. The subtle, lingering warmth of the fragrance is sublimely sophisticated and modern. An enticing experience and the most liberatingly feminine fragrance from BOSS. Femme by BOSS is harmony in a bottle; a scent metaphor for modern femininity. Projected by the fruity top notes of tangerine and blackcurrant, the fragrance is grounded in a creamy, musk-like base. This works with the white floral trio of stephanotis, rose and oriental lily to leave behind just a subtle, warm aura of the scent.

Roberto Cavalli Eau De Parfum - This scent is a beautiful musky, sensual scent that is a perfect for the winter months. It has an almost warming smell to it (i told you i am terrible at describing scents) & lasts all day long on the skin. Roberto Cavalli state this scent as:
Vibrant and sensual, the Roberto Cavalli fragrance exhilarates and mesmerises from the very first contact. At the heart of the Roberto Cavalli perfume one finds all the majesty of the absolute of orange blossom. it is a colour as much as a scent that reveals an ultra-feminine trail and leaves no-one indifferent.

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy - I am pretty sure everyone & their mother has tried or at least heard of this perfume. It is a very sweet & fruity smelling perfume & is perfect for everyday wear. I am not usually a sweet scent perfume kind of a gal, i tend to prefer more subtle classy scents but i cannot get enough of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy:
A sophisticated twist on the original this new limited edition fragrance will take you on a magical journey from day to evening. An intoxicating elixir of luscious fruits.

Taylor by Taylor Swift - This perfume is a very sweet smelling vanilla scent. I would definitely say this perfume is more of an everyday scent for me but it lasts along time on the skin & i can still smell it on myself hours later, which is an important factor for me. If i cant smell it too what's the point? Boots describe this perfume as:
beautifully crafted from luscious fruits, blushing florals and soft woods. It’s an unforgettable scent that’s classic yet completely alluring.Playing off Taylor’s classic meets contemporary style, the Taylor by Taylor Swift bottle was designed to embody Taylor’s retro with a modern twist flare.

Very Hollywood by Michael Kors - I kind of purchased this perfume on a whim when i was at my old Sales assistant job in superdrug, & i am so glad i did. It has a very floral scent with a hint of fruitiness; the scent is so lovely & light. You need the smallest amount of this because the scent is so strong but it lasts for hours & i can still smell the perfume lingering hours later. Michael Kors describe this perfume as:
Michael Michael Kors Very Hollywood. Shimmering jewels of mandarin and iced bergamot. Scene-stealing gardenia follows suit with a decadent performance of award-worthy glamour

Killer Queen by Katy Perry - Ok so close your eyes, imagine the scent of the duty free beauty department, open your eyes.... this is what this smells like. Everytime i wear this i imagine duty free in the airport. The scent is gorgeous & smells alot more expensive than a cheap & cheerful bargain from boots. The more accurate description of this perfume says:
Killer Queen, a charmingly playful yet lethally gorgeous Floriental fragrance, opens with tempting dark berries and lush plum that blend into an opulent floral heart. The softness and grace of the heart is highlighted by the Royal Red Velvet flower that leads into an intoxicating background of precious woods and sensual musk.

Ok, so three celebrity scents out of six may seem a little excessive but i truly think you can grab yourself good bargain. In my slightly younger days i was a Sales Assistant at Superdrug so i was very involved in new releases of perfumes & i think i spent 80% of my hard earned money back into the store (great money management aimee).

Have your tried any of these perfumes? What is your favourite all time scent?
